The artworks were created by the students of the workshop of the iconographer: Christina Anagnostopoulou, Helen Varonou – Georghiou, Eftyhia Voziki – Sfinaroli, Aggeliki Dimitrakaki – Vassilopoulou, Evaggelia Kalimkeraki and Ioanna Karadimitri – Delaporta.
The theme of the exhibition was focused on the relation of the Byzantine Orthodox hagiography with the natural environment; and more specifically, the element of water. The collections from selling the artworks were donated to the Christian Orthodox Metropolis of Nigeria for building a school in the city of IMO in East Nigeria.
